About Sero Candles
We started on this journey inspired to create a more sustainable candle - without the waste of single-use containers.
Since then, we've spent a lot of time exploring unique designs and alternative materials. We definitely spent too much time trying to get it perfect, and we certainly did not accomplish that - but I do believe we've created some pretty high quality candles that are cleaner and more sustainable than most.
We're 6 years in and we're really just getting started, so I hope you can appreciate the quality our stubbornness has produced so far. There will be many more scents and unique container designs in the future - so stay tuned!

We learned a few things along the way
Candles bring people joy
There's something primal and grounding about burning candles. The right burn with the right scent in the right setting doesn't just enhance, but creates the mood.
You breathe what you burn
Many candles contain unnecessary chemicals. We've selected each ingredient to be clean, natural, and something we'd want to breathe in ourselves.
Candles aren't recycled
This was shocking to learn because they're glass. But it's usually a different kind of glass - borosilicate glass - which isn't recyclable in our normal curbside programs.
We all want to do better
Recyclable candles and reusable wood containers mean no more single-use containers entering the landfill. We've aimed to minimize waste wherever we can.
So we adopted a few things along the way
Reusable Wood Containers
Our interlocking, two piece wood containers provide a beautiful, seamless aesthetic for our recyclable candles. Just swap in the scent for the mood.
100% Aluminum Candles
Aluminum is infinitely recyclable and widely available. With welded wick clips & laser etching, each candle is 100% aluminum & 100% recyclable.
Luxury Quality Candles
100% vegetable wax, the cleanest fragrance oils available, and responsibly sourced wood wicks. That's it. Poured in the USA.
Plastic-free Packaging
We designed unique, minimalist packaging to maximize recyclability and space efficiency. Great for shipping, and for storage.
